Why I Changed From LIBERAL To CONSERVATIVE

I entered law school when I was 29 years old, after having worked for 8 years. I subscribed to The Nation, The Progressivve, and Mother Jones. I held extremely liberal left wing views of politics.
And in law school, I ran into people that actually wanted to force these view on society. And the more I thought about, the more I saw what these people wanted to do, the more I realized that OUR society works from the INDIVIDUAL up, not the GOVERNMENT down.
Here's what's funny about LIBS:They say "equal pay for equal work."But they agree that someone with a Master's Degree should get paid more than someone with a Bachelor's Degree (assuming equal work experience)..And they agree that someone with a Master's Degree should get paid more than someone with a high school diploma (assuming equal work experience). And they agree that someone with a Master's Degree should get paid more than someone who dropped out of high school (assuming equal work experience). But then they point out that the high school dropout can't pay for health care insurance, can't pay for daycare, can't pay for housing in a good neighborhood- and that the government should tax the RICH guy, so that the government can start programs to pay the high school dropout. And who is the RICH guy? The guy with a Master's Degree, who the LIBS agreed should get paid more than the guy who dropped out of high school!!!Funny, ain't it? Well, unless you're the guy with the Master's Degree.
Start Your Life NOW! - whether you are liberal or conservative, you CAN pursue EXCELLENCE in any area of your life
